DISABILITY INFO
While working on his family's farm he was involved in a tractor accident and was diagnosed with spinal cord injuries. He underwent six months of rehabilitation. (superabile.it, 31 Mar 2009)

SERIE A DEMO
In May 2011 during half time at the Italian Serie A football match between Juventus and Chievo he was joined by Italian teammates Marco Galiazzo, Natalia Valeeva, and Elisabetta Mijno in a demonstration to promote the 2011 World Championships. The four archers competed a double challenge to shoot a single three-arrow end match at 70m. De Pellegrin shot a perfect score and won the event 30-28. (worldarchery.org, 18 May 2011)
