When and where did you begin this sport?
She began skiing while at she was at school. She took up Para skiing and Para biathlon in 2012 in Minsk, Belarus, shortly after recovering from her injuries.
Why this sport?
She learned about the sport after getting to know Belarusian Para skier Dzmitry Loban and coach Yury Buranau, who suggested she try the sport. Two months after her first training session she took part in an international competition in Finland.

She credits her husband Dzmitry Loban for her successes on the snow. Loban has represented Belarus in Para cross-country skiing and Para biathlon, and also worked as her coach. "He made me the athlete that I am today. I stayed in the sport because he was there. I always wanted to go everywhere with him, and then I started liking it. I was drawn into the sport. It is very interesting when two people do the same work. Biathlon and cross-country skiing are, simply put, the meaning of his life, and for me also they have become the meaning of life."
