Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics in 2008.
Why this sport?
He preferred rugby or football, but realised he had a talent for athletics. He first tried sprinting, then throwing events. "I wanted to practise some sports, not necessarily to compete, but as I was good enough I didn't want to stop because of school. Then I was obliged to do athletics. For instance I didn't want to run but I then I was told, 'You'll be good at it', so I took it up. I tried athletics and I realised that I was good at it. It was not really my favorite sport, but as I began to feel the pleasure of running, jumping and throwing, I realised that it was good for me, so I continued. Then I began travelling everywhere and that's when my vocation was born."
