When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up athletics in 2009 at the Almaty Sports Club in Kazakhstan.
Why this sport?
He liked physical education classes as a child and tried to be the first in all the school races. Although he never considered a sports career in his childhood, he returned to sports again after his accident. He chose to compete in throwing disciplines because that was the only choice at his club.
