When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics in 2011.
Why this sport?
A friend encouraged him to go meet French wheelchair racer Pierre Fairbank at the Numa-Daly Stadium in Noumea, New Caledonia. "I saw his accomplishments at the [Paralympic] Games and that gave me the will to try it. I returned the following day and then I said that I would go to the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro."
