When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up Para athletics at age eight. Her first race was at a school carnival.
Why this sport?
A teacher at her school encouraged her to try Para athletics. "I have a twin sister who was pretty sporty so I wanted to do a sport she didn't."

Other information
She considered quitting the sport after she was not selected for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. However, watching her friends compete at the Games inspired her to continue, with a focus on long jump as well as sprinting. "When I was told I was not going I was shattered. I knew it was a strong possibility because my class had got so tough. I had to take a few weeks out. I was definitely a mess for a long time. But the support from my school, my parents and my friends has definitely got me back. I didn't think I would be able to watch the Paralympics, but it was amazing watching my friends there and it reminded me it is something I really want to do." (, 16 Oct 2016)
