Other information
She had thoughts of quitting para-athletics after she was not selected to compete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. However watching her friends compete inspired her to continue the sport with a focus on long jump as well as sprinting. "When I was told I was not going I was shattered. I knew it was a strong possibility because my class had got so tough. I had to take a few weeks out. I was definitely a mess for a long time. But the support from my school, my parents and my friends has definitely got me back. I didn't think I would be able to watch the Paralympics, but it was amazing watching my friends there and it reminded me it is something I really want to do." (, 16 Oct 2016)
