Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He first tried the sport at age eight. He moved on to professional training in 2010 in Omsk, Russian Federation.
Why this sport?
"In addition to athletics, since childhood I have also been involved in football, draughts and basketball. But this was more of a hobby than a serious matter. I had to choose my own path and the teacher of our orphanage played a decisive role in this. She offered to run the autumn cross-country race, promising sweets. I was inspired and won, and got the chocolates. After that, I won the school cross-country race more than once, starting to train with my first coach Valery Borisov."
