Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up athletics in 2004 at the Avia Club Issy les Moulineaux in France. He trained alongside able-bodied athletes until age 15, when a para-athletics group was established at the club.
Why this sport?
"When I was little, I was running around the house and one day my mother had enough and she told me, 'If you really want to run, I'll sign you up for athletics.' At first I was not very enthusiastic and I did not really like it, but over time I began to love athletics." The 2004 Olympic Games in Athens provided him with additional motivation to pursue a sports career.
