He took up Para athletics in 2010 in Kielce, Poland.

"It all started when I was in middle school. I was causing trouble so my father decided to send me to an athletics camp as some kind of socialisation or punishment exercise. They gave me a hard time there, but when I came back I started running of my own initiative."
