When and where did you begin this sport?
She began competing in able-bodied athletics at age 10. She took up Para athletics after her vision impairment worsened at age 14.
Why this sport?
She loved track and field events as a child. At age 10 her sports teacher at school signed her up to compete in shot put against able-bodied athletes.

CLASSIFICATION CHANGE
She was selected to compete at the 2017 World Championships in London but was unable to compete after her classification changed. "That really hurt. Every time I seem to be making progress something goes wrong. But if you let that get to you, you aren't really going to go any further. It's been hard. I've been knocked down a few times."
