He took up Para athletics in 2014 in Perlis, Malaysia.
Why this sport?
He had competed in able-bodied athletics at school, and was encouraged to continue pursuing the sport after his accident by one of his teachers. "At first I wasn't keen on it because I found running with just one hand very uncomfortable. But I slowly got used to it."
