When and where did you begin this sport?
She was involved in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby before taking up Para athletics in 2015 at age 18.
Why this sport?
She was volunteering at a wheelchair track meet and was encouraged to start training. "People were saying, 'Wow, you're really good at this, you should do it.' That's when I started taking it more seriously."

Impairment
She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age nine. She had surgery when she was younger and doctors were able to lengthen her hamstrings and Achilles tendons, and add bone grafts to her ankles. "'I also get Botox injections in my legs about every six months. My cerebral palsy makes my muscles constantly contract, so the Botox acts as a neuro-inhibitor and helps them relax."
