Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
She began Para athletics at age 14, in June 2015 at the Union Sportive Le Blanc club in France.
Why this sport?
She had tried gymnastics and swimming but found them difficult due to her visual impairment. In March 2015, she met French Para athlete and multiple European champion Timothee Adolphe, who encouraged her to join the Paris University Club, which she did. She also joined her local able-bodied club, Union Sportive Le Blanc, in central France. "I was looking for an emotional release that could help me to accept my impairment. I love athletics because it allowed me to accept myself and to enjoy."

Other information
EARLY SUCCESS
When she first started athletics her club, US Le Blanc, did not have any other Para athletes, and her first guide, Thibault Michel, was the son of the club's coach. But after only two months of training, she won a silver medal at the national championships and was integrated into the national programme. "It was unbelievable. There are young Para athletes who train for years in order to make the national programme. For me, I arrived on the scene and straight away I was integrated into the national youth programme."
