When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para athletics at school in 2010.
Why this sport?
He used to play rugby but at age 15 he quit the sport because his father was afraid he would get a serious injury. He then took up athletics so he could stay involved in sport.

His vision impairment is caused by cataracts. "At age 12 I was diagnosed with cataracts and had to undergo eye surgery. But then another child accidentally elbowed me in the eye just after the operation while it was still wrapped. It began to swell and over time everything became more and more fuzzy."
