Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He tried a variety of Para sports through the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation and found that athletics suited him best. He was then spotted by coaches while competing at the 2017 Halberg Games in Auckland, New Zealand, after which he began training with coach Raylene Bates in Athletics New Zealand's high performance programme.
Why this sport?
He enjoys the competitive aspect of sport, and meeting new people. "It's what I would say really actually got me going with athletics, because of the whole competition. You get to know a lot of really cool people, and it's just a whole lot of fun. It's just great for everyone."
