Other information
CHANGE OF SPORT
She decided to make the switch from para-athletics to para-cycling because of the lack of amputee competitors in New Zealand. (stuff.co.nz, 30 Apr 2013)

PARALYMPIC TELEVISION COVERAGE
She was disappointed with how little television coverage the 2012 Paralympic Games in London got in New Zealand. "We are doing so well, yet this coverage is the worst it has ever been. It's just such a shame, because there have been some outstanding performances. The public probably doesn't even realise just how well we are doing and who our athletes are." (nzherald.co.nz, 06 Sep 2012)
