When and where did you begin this sport?
She first tried athletics in 1999, and took up para-athletics in 2008 at the Lisses Athletic Club in France.
Why this sport?
Her parents and brother practised athletics and encouraged her to do exercises following her accident. "One day, after my accident, my father suggested that I go out and run for one minute per day. After two weeks, I was running for 15 minutes. And today, I can run for one and a half hours."

Impairment
She was involved in a car accident on 29 Jun 2003, which resulted in multiple fractures to her ribs and back, air and blood in her chest cavity and her being in a coma for two months.
