Why this sport?
After his accident he was looking for new activities and he decided to try dance sport. "I have always been fond for sports and I have been active in sports, and it stayed the same after my accident. I consider dance to be one of the most inclusive sports, as it is a partnership with an able-bodied dancer."

Impairment
In 2009 he was attending a team building event at an adrenaline park by the Kupa river. During a game of football he jumped into the water to retrieve the ball when he hit his head on a rock, breaking his neck and sustaining spinal cord injuries, which resulted in quadriplegia. SWIMMING
He loves water sports and has also competed in Para swimming, despite the fact that the accident which caused his impairment happened in water. "Water is not guilty, I am a guilty as I made a jump. OTHER ACTIVITIES
He has served as an ambassador for the Wings for Life World Run, a global race that raises money for research into spinal cord injuries. He is also involved in social projects, one of which shows people without an impairment what it is like to use a wheelchair and what barriers they have to overcome.
