When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up the sport at age five.
Why this sport?
Her doctors and her physical therapists encouraged her to try swimming. "I remember that every Saturday morning at 09:00 I was forced to go swimming. I didn't like it at all, it was too early and the water was really cold. But year by year I got better and better and I started to like swimming. It took me a good four years to really get to love swimming."
