BREAK
In 2013 she lost her passion for swimming and turned her attention to horse riding. She returned to the pool in 2015, as riding aggravated a back injury she had sustained when she was younger. "In the spring of 2013, my passion for swimming was briefly lost and I decided to switch to horse riding. Equestrian has been a family sport, especially for my mother, so it wasn't too difficult to switch sports. However, my childhood back injury was in the way and I was no longer able to ride at racing level. With pain and frustration, I wondered if I would become a rider after all. So it was time to return to the pool." (respecta.fi, 08 Jan 2018)

OCCUPATION
She works part-time at her mother's accountancy office. (it-lehti.fi, 18 Dec 2019)
