RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
He considered retiring from Para swimming following the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro due to injuries and a lack of motivation. In 2018 he decided to continue in the sport with a view to competing at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. "I promised my coach to compete at [the 2018 European Championships] and we would consider the next step after that. Now it feels better and I will try to take more medals in the future and be part of another Paralympic Games." (sverigesradio.se, 05 Jan 2018)
