When and where did you begin this sport?
He began swimming at age 12.
Why this sport?
He became interested in swimming after watching a television broadcast of Korean swimmer Park Tae-Hwan win gold in the 400m freestyle the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. A coach encouraged him to take up the sport, and it was also beneficial for his rehabilitation.
