TRAINING LOCATION
In December 2012, the pool in which she did most of her training before competing at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London closed due to financial reasons. It was the only 50m pool in Zaragoza, Spain and now she has to train in a 25m pool beside members of the public, as the nearest 50m pool is 300km from Zaragoza. "In the 50m pool I had a dedicated lane to train in, but in the new 25m pool I cannot pay for that. As a result I'm training in the pool alongside members of the public." (paralympic.org, 25 Feb 2013)

RETURN TO COMPETITION
She returned to the pool in April 2011 after taking two years' maternity leave. She had not competed since the 2009 European Championships in Berlin, Germany. (heraldo.es, 27 Apr 2011)

BOOK
She and her husband, Mariano Menor, wrote a biography about her life entitled "Mi Vida Sobre Ruedas" [My Life on Wheels]. (estoesdxt.es, 09 Nov 2011)
