When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up para-swimming in Valkenburg, Netherlands, after she had been introduced to the sport by her therapist.
Why this sport?
She liked the sport during her rehabilitation period, and she wanted to compete in a sport where she did not have to use a wheelchair.
