When and where did you begin this sport?
He got involved in Para athletics [shot put and discus throw] in 2008 in Baku, Azerbaijan. In 2018 he took up Para cycling, and in 2021 he tried Nordic skiing for the first time.
Why this sport?
"I didn't get into cycling, I couldn't go to [the 2020 Paralympic Games in] Tokyo, so I started skiing. Cycling, skiing, they suit each other really well so I decided to give it a try."
Training Regime
He has four or five training sessions each week.
