She took up the sport in 2016 in Limassol, Cyprus.
Why this sport?
She was a gymnast before she was involved in a motorbike accident in 2009. "I gained power [to continue with sport] because I have always been a gymnast. I started it [powerlifting] because it was a different sport from what I did. Because powerlifting is a challenge for a woman."
