She first started powerlifting at age 15 at her current club, FAHVA, in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France. She won her first French title at age 17.
Why this sport?
Her father, who is the President of her club [FAHVA] took her to watch competitions when she was young. "I liked it. I realised weightlifting would make me stronger and help me move around better."
