COURT CASE
He won 3000 GBP compensation in 2010 after a bar refused him entry. He was turned away from the OK Karaoke bar in Leeds, England because he was deemed a fire risk as he was in a wheelchair. "This had nothing to do with money. I wanted to tell the judge how upset I felt at being told I was a potential fire hazard. It affected me quite badly as I like to go out with friends. Not only am I embarrassed, I am a fire hazard as well. I can assure OK Karaoke I do not spontaneously combust." (thepressnews.co.uk, 28 Apr 2011)
