OCCUPATION
In July 2020 he was working as a taxi driver while the Iranian Para powerlifting team were unable to hold training camps due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "I asked the federation to lend me bars, weights, tables and equipment so that I could train at home and keep myself ready for competition, but unfortunately they did not accept my request. With the bad economic conditions, I cannot afford weightlifting equipment. National team athletes are supported by the Paralympic Committee as long as they are at camp or competition. There is no financial support when there are no training camps, so I started working as a driver." (mashreghnews.ir, 19 Jul 2020)
