She began playing sitting volleyball in 2015 at age 17 in Calgary, AB, Canada.
Why this sport?
She had played standing volleyball before her accident. "After my accident I wanted to get back to being active as soon as possible. Right when I got back home I sat down and started playing volleyball against the wall, just to get the volleyball back in my hands."
