Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
She began playing sitting volleyball in 2002.
Why this sport?
She had been playing volleyball from childhood. After losing her leg she looked at a number of Para sports, but felt that volleyball was the sport for her, so she decided to try sitting volleyball. Initially she planned to play for just one year, after which she would return to standing volleyball with a prosthesis. However, after that year, she was hooked on sitting volleyball and decided to continue. "It is like an addiction, you cannot get rid of it."
