When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up sitting volleyball in 2001 in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Why this sport?
A sports consultant at her rehabilitation centre introduced her to para-sport. She did not want to take part in a sport requiring a wheelchair, and despite trying skiing, was hooked on sitting volleyball immediately.
