Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
He began the sport at age 36 in Reims, France.
Why this sport?
He initially took up archery as part of his rehabilitation [his right arm was crushed in a work accident] and practised the sport for many years before switching to rifle and pistol shooting in 1997. A meeting with fellow French shooter Raphael Voltz in 2005 solidified his desire to compete on the international stage. "Shooting is a way of escaping my handicap. I get to experience things that most people do not."
