When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up shooting in 2009 in New Zealand.
Why this sport?
"I was talking to [Para shooter] Michael Johnson about his sport, and in a rather arrogant and flippant manner I suggested shooting was a bit of a 'girlie' sport. After all, I was a former wheelchair rugby player. Without missing a beat and showing no apparent sign of being offended, Mike invited me to have a go. This I duly did, using one of his rifles and shooting down the corridor at his home."

In 2015 he presented one of his paintings to Prince Harry [member of the British royal family] who was visiting the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit in New Zealand.
