When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para golf and Para alpine skiing in 2010. He then got involved in Para trap shooting in 2018.
Why this sport?
He was an avid footballer, diver and parachutist prior to his amputation and wanted to remain involved in sport. "Para sports were the second thing that occurred to me [other than to return to active service], and I started to look for information."

He is a multiple European champion in Para golf, and has served as president of the Czech Disabled Golf Association [CZDGA]. He has also competed in both Para alpine skiing and shooting Para sport. He represented the Czech Republic in trap at the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships in Lonato del Garda, Italy, and in alpine skiing at the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. Impairment
In July 2007 he was serving with the Special Operations Group of the Czech military police in Afghanistan. A member of the Taliban fired a rocket-propelled grenade that landed between his legs and blew off his left ankle. He had to have his left leg amputated below the knee.
