Injuries

Milestones
He became the first alpine skier representing Finland to win a medal at the Paralympic Winter Games when he claimed silver in the men's standing super combined event at the 2022 Games in Beijing. Three days later, he became the first alpine skier representing Finland to win a gold medal at the Paralympic Winter Games when he triumphed in the men's standing giant slalom event in Beijing. COLLAPSE
In early 2019 he collapsed during a training session. "I fainted in the middle of a descent, and my airway was blocked. I'm grateful to my coach for realising he needed to pull my tongue out, otherwise I probably wouldn't be speaking here. It was quite a stop. Then I had to have tests for a couple of months.
