When and where did you begin this sport?
She first tried skiing at age three, and learned to ski independently at age six. She began competitive racing in 2015.
Why this sport?
Her family had a love of skiing. From age seven to 11 she competed against able-bodied skiers, but became disheartened and stopped. After undergoing leg surgery in December 2014 she decided she wanted to pursue racing more seriously, and got in touch with Disability Snowsport UK. She was assessed by one of the coaches who recommended she train at Chill Factore in Manchester, England.
