Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up Para dance sport in 2006 in Cecina, Italy, and began competing at national events one year later.
Why this sport?
She was passionate about dance and her mother helped her find a club to begin the sport. "I thought about giving up dancing, but I never did and I told my mum that even though I was in a wheelchair, I wanted to dance. It was not easy to describe my feeling when I began practising, as soon as the choreographer told me to start and make a move with the music, my heart was pounding with excitement, and the happiness I felt at that moment was a lot."
