Sport Specific Information
Why this sport?
She tried a number of sports growing up before discovering Para dance sport. "Growing up I slowly abandoned those sports and fell in love with dance because music wasn't enough for me anymore. I was surprised when I saw wheelchair dancing. Music has always been my greatest passion. Growing up with music, I approached dancing by watching musical films, so the passion grew and I discovered that Para dance sport also existed. I was also probably influenced by my father who was a dancer in a company in Genoa, but, yes, I have the dancing gene in me."

Other information
She tried a number of sports growing up before deciding to focus on Para dance sport. "I started with swimming, I practised twice a week, not for competitions or anything, but to help me with my motor skills. Then I also started riding a beautiful pony that my grandfather gave me, and from the pony I went to the horse, with various riding courses I practised both for therapy and competitions. I still practice horse riding, although less than before, since I dedicated myself to dancing. During the holidays, both summer and winter, I have always ventured into sports such as skiing, rafting, archery, rock climbing and many other outdoor sports. I like any sport that demands hard work and tests." (, 11 Jan 2019)
