Since 2002, she has participated in every summer and winter Paralympic Games, competing in para-cycling at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 editions, and taking part in para-alpine skiing in 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014. "I've been to enough Games to understand the need for focus and being competitive. I've been kind of stressed and on the edge for a long time [but] for the last couple years, I have been sitting back and relaxing and enjoying the ride, having already honed in on a lot of those skills that I've needed."
