He began Para cross-country skiing in 2015 in Freiburg, Germany.
Why this sport?
He was inspired to take up the sport after watching the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi and receiving encouragement from his brother.

He was part of the German 4x2.5km mixed relay team that was presented with the 2018 Para Team of the Year Award by the German Paralympic Committee [DBS].
