When and where did you begin this sport?
She took up snowboard at age eight.
Why this sport?
She enjoyed the feeling and adrenaline the sport provided. "I started competing after I saw a commercial on TV. So I went on the website of the Canadian Paralympic Committee and I saw all these sports that were available to Para athletes. Snowboarding caught my attention right away."

She incorporates boxing into her training routine. "It allows me to keep in shape, while changing the routine. I don't go into the arena anymore, but I continue to train in the gym, to hit bags."
