TARNISHED SILVER
He expressed disappointment after winning silver in the 800m at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. "In an instant I lost my head. I counted on having enough [stamina] so I ran fast for 250 metres but the strongest one is the one who finishes faster. It's disappointing because I was really counting on gold. But such is life. As someone said, 'This was your Olympiad, but this was not your race today.'" (rsport.ru, 06 Sep 2012)
