She first became aware of boccia in 2003 in Singapore. She began training in 2004.
Why this sport?
She was working on a community project at university and was intrigued by the sport. She approached the Singapore Disability Sports Council for the chance to play boccia. "No two boccia matches are the same. You can start every game in the same way, with the same moves, but you always end differently. That's what I find so interesting about boccia."
